// OUR STORY
BUILT FOR THE AMERICAS.
DEPLOYED ANYWHERE.
OSM International Services Inc. is a Miami-based portable machining and non-destructive testing company. We serve the maritime, offshore energy, and industrial sectors across the Americas and Caribbean. Founder and CEO Mike de Graaf launched the company in 2025, realizing a vision he had built with his father, Nico de Graaf. Together they bring more than 50 years of combined field experience. We work in partnership with OSM International B.V. in the Netherlands, putting European precision engineering standards and portable machining technology to work across the Americas.
We founded our Miami operation to close a critical gap. When a vessel suffers a crankshaft failure, a scored bearing bore, or a leaking pressure flange in the Caribbean or Gulf of Mexico, operators need a certified machining team on-site in hours, not days. Our specialists mobilize from Miami to any port, anchorage, or industrial facility in the region. They carry portable CNC equipment and the certifications that classification societies and P&I clubs require. Every specialist is directly employed by OSM. We do not subcontract.
Every repair is completed to OEM or approved engineering specifications, documented by SNT-TC-1A Level II certified technicians, and reported in a format accepted by all major classification societies. We hold tolerances down to ±0.02mm. The goal never changes: return your vessel, plant, or rig to full operational capacity at the lowest total cost and in the shortest possible time.
// TRUSTED BY
CLIENTS WHO DEPEND ON US
Major cruise lines, offshore platforms, and industrial facilities count on OSM International for precision machining. We are the partner operators across the Americas and Caribbean call when downtime is not an option.
// WHAT DRIVES US
OUR MISSION
The best repair is the one performed in-situ. It preserves equipment integrity, removes transport risk, and returns your operation to service faster than any alternative. Every technician we field is certified. Every report we issue is complete.
Precision First
Every measurement is taken with calibrated instruments and recorded in our inspection reports. We work to OEM tolerances down to ±0.02mm and document every step. Precision is the difference between a repair and a rework.
Speed Without Compromise
We keep pre-packed equipment sets and on-call technician teams ready to go. Emergency response mobilizes within 24 hours of your call; standard jobs within 48. Speed is critical in this industry, but never at the expense of quality.
Integrity in Every Report
Our SNT-TC-1A Level II technicians issue reports that meet the exact documentation requirements of classification societies and P&I clubs. What we write in the report is exactly what we found. Full stop.
Safety in Every Environment
We work in engine rooms, offshore topsides, and power plant galleries. Our teams are trained in confined space, hot work, and maritime safety protocols, and hold all required permits before any tool touches a surface.
// THE TEAM
PEOPLE WHO DELIVER
Experienced maritime and industrial specialists lead OSM International Services. Every technician holds current certifications in their discipline and has logged years of field experience across the Americas and Caribbean. All specialists are directly employed by OSM. We never subcontract our work.
“Every customer we serve carries the standard my father instilled in all of us: honesty, transparency, and craftsmanship. That is not a marketing statement; it is the reason OSM loves what it does.”
Mike de Graaf, Founder & CEO · on master machinist Nico de Graaf
Mike started as an F-16 Crew Chief in the Royal Netherlands Air Force, then spent years on portable machining with Goltens Rotterdam, OSM International B.V., MSHS Metalock, and Wärtsilä Quantiserv. He grinds in-situ crankshafts and runs the Americas operation. He leads deployment, client relations, and project execution across the marine and offshore sectors.
Our machinist and NDT technicians carry ASNT SNT-TC-1A Level II certifications in MT, PT, UT, and VT. Their combined experience spans two-stroke main engines, offshore rotating equipment, and industrial power plants.
